About Us

Weston Methodist Church consists of a wide range of different people from the villages located in the Trent Valley. Our lives have been changed by discovering God’s love and His plan and His purpose.

This church family has met here for over 100 years and it is a steadily growing and developing church.

The strength of our relationship is our faith in Jesus, which unites us as a family, with God as our Father and the person of the Holy Spirit at work in and through our lives.

A Sunday service is held each week beginning at 10:30am. There is no set form of Methodist worship: but prayers, music, bible readings and a sermon are common to most services.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is observed every month. In the Methodist Church we have what is known as an “open table”, in that you do not have to be a member to receive the elements of bread and wine.

We hold regular prayer meetings every month as well as sessions for bible studies and seasonal courses such as Advent and Lent. We meet for events that build and develop our relationships with one another. We support local and international charity organisations  with regular outreach into the nearby villages.
